Storage & quota
Each world takes up some storage for its save data and snapshots. Your account has a storage quota shared across all your worlds, and the Worlds page shows you how much you're using at a glance.
- Where to see your storage usage
- What counts toward the quota
- What to do when you're running low on space
The storage gauge
The Worlds page has a gauge at the top that shows your total storage used across every world, against your account quota — something like "X of 50 GiB used" — with a percentage bar. As you create worlds, import saves, and accumulate snapshots, the bar fills up.
The number is the sum of every world's storage, so deleting a world (or trimming an oversized one) frees space back into the pool.
What uses space
| Uses storage | Notes |
|---|---|
| A world's latest save data | The live snapshot that gets restored when you open a room |
| Snapshot history | Backups Lanzinha keeps so you can roll back |
| Imported worlds | An imported save counts the same as any other world |
Counter-Strike rooms don't keep a world, so they don't use world storage at all.
When you're running low
If your gauge is near the quota, you have a few easy options:
- Delete worlds you no longer play. This is the biggest, fastest win — it removes the world and its snapshots, freeing all their space at once.
- Export a world, then delete it. If you want to keep an old world around but not on Lanzinha, download an archive first and re-import it later if you ever come back.
- Trim oversized imports. When importing, prune far-flung chunks or backups before zipping — see the import limits.
Worlds are cheap to keep but easy to forget. If your storage bar keeps creeping up, glance at the Worlds page now and then and clear out the ones you've moved on from.
The quota is per account and shared across all your worlds — it isn't a separate allowance per world. Freeing space anywhere frees it everywhere.
